If you are creating a new blog, you must submit your blog to big search engines. Due to which your blog will start appearing in search results and you will get free organic targeted search engine traffic. Your blog will not be very successful without search engine traffic. That's why you have to work a little hard on the SEO of your blog and make your blog search engine optimized. Also, every post of your blog will have to be submitted to the search engine so that your blog starts appearing in the search results.

Although you will get to see many search engines, the most used search engines are Google, Bing, and Yahoo. So in this post, I will tell you how you will be able to submit your new blog to Google, Bing, and Yahoo search engines. For this, you have to submit the sitemap of your blog in the search console of search engines.

Submit Your Blog to Google Search Console.

Google is the largest and leading search engine. To submit your blog's sitemap to Google's search console, first of all, you will need a Google account. Because you can use all Google services with a single account of Google, then you will not need to open a separate account in Search Console. You simply have to log in with your Google account by going to the site of Google's search console.

After logging into Google Search Console, you will get to see an interface like the picture given below.

You simply have to write the URL of your blog in the text box given below the URL prefix and click on Continue. On clicking on Continue, a new popup window like the picture is given below will open, where you will have to verify the ownership of your blog. You can verify the ownership of your blog in 5 ways. By uploading the HTML file to your blog, enter the HTML tag in your blog's coding, through Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, or by editing your DNS record. But I will advise you to verify the ownership of your blog only through the first two methods HTML file upload and HTML tag.

Verify through HTML file-

To verify your blog ownership with the Html file upload method, first, you have to download the Html file from the popup window of the search console. After that, you have to go to the site of your hosting provider and upload it to the root folder of the blog. After the file is uploaded, you will get back the search console's pop-up window, which is already open, And click on Verify Now given below the HTML file tab. This will verify the ownership of your blog.

Verify through HTML Tag

If you use a platform like Blogger to blog, then you cannot upload HTML files. For this, you have to use the second method i.e. HTML tag. For this, first, you have to copy the code from the text box given below the HTML tag from the popup window of the search console. After that, you have to go to your blog's template and go to the option to edit HTML. After that, you have to find the head code, and just below it, paste the code copied from the search console and save it as shown in the picture below. After that go back to the search console and click on Verify Now under the HTML tag.

Once the ownership of the blog is verified, you will get to see a window like a picture below.

You have to go to the dashboard of your search console by clicking on GO TO PROPERTY. Now you have to enter the sitemap of your blog in the search console so that the posts of your blog will appear in the search results of Google.

Submit Your Blog Sitemap to Google Search Console.

To submit the sitemap of your blog to Google's Search Console, you have to go to the Search Console menu which is on the left side of the Search Console window. As you can see in the picture below. And you have to click on the sitemaps. Then you have to submit your blog sitemap by entering your domain name followed by the URL of your sitemap in the text box below the “add a sitemap” option.

Submit Your Blog to Bing and Yahoo Search Console.

Due to the connection of Bing and Yahoo search engines to each other, only by adding your blog on the Bing search console, your blog will also be added to Yahoo. To add the sitemap of your blog to Bing Search Console, first, you have to log in to Bing Search console with your Microsoft, Gmail, or Facebook account. After logging in, you have to click on the sitemap in the menu of the console.

After that a new window will open which will be like the picture given above, You have to click on the submit sitemap on the top right side. After that, enter the URL of your blog's sitemap in the pop-up window that opens and submit it. And very easily the sitemap of your blog will be submitted in the Bing search console. And also your sitemap will be submitted in Yahoo search as well because you do not have to submit your blog to Yahoo separately.

After submitting the sitemap of your blog to the search console, the crawlers of the search engines will crawl your blog. And in a short time, your blog post will be listed in the search result. If your blog has to rank well in the search results, then you have to work on the SEO of your blog. Through search engine optimization, you will be able to bring your blog to the first page of the search result.
