Blogger provides you a free word of blogspot.com for free. But a custom TLD will benefit you more.


Many people initially have trouble creating their new blog in Blogger. That's why I have prepared this post, by reading which you will be able to easily create a blog in Blogger. Below I am going to explain you all the details about this step by step.


Step 1: Create an Account on Blogger.

To create a blog of your own on Blogger, you will first have to create an account of your own. For this you will need a Google Account. If you already have a Google Account, then you can use it, or you can create a new Google Account very easily. Because you can use Google's all services from one account of Google, so you will not need to fill data in it separately. All you have to do is login to blogger with your Google account. With the same ID and password of the Google account. if you don't have a Google Account Create your Google Account Now.



When you go to blogger.com, you will get to see a window like the above picture. All you have to do is click on the Create Your Blog button written in the middle of it in yellow color. After that the sign in form of Google account will open in front of you. You have to log in by entering the ID and password of your Google account. 


Step 2: Choose a Name for Your New Blog.



After that a screen like the picture given above will come in front of you. You have to write whatever name you have liked for your blog in it. You can also change this name later from blog settings. After choosing a good name for your blog, you have to click on Next. Remember this thing is the name of your blog, not the sub domain you will get from blogger, for that you have to choose on the next step. Therefore, write only one name here, which will be written at the top of your blog.


Step 3: Choose a Blogger Subdomain for Your New Blog.


After typing the name of your blog and next, you will get to see a screen like the picture given above. In this, you have to choose blogger's free sub domain for your blog. If it is written as “Sorry, the Blog address is not available” while selecting the subdomain, then it means that someone else has already taken it in the subdomain. And you have to put some other name in it. When your given name is shown available for subdomain then you have to click on next button below the form.


Step 4: Choose Your Username for Blogger


After that you have to choose a name for yourself in the screen like the picture above. This will be your blogger username. Which will also come in the form of a poster of the post  in every post if you want. Here after choosing a good name for you, you have to click on Finish. This will create your blog, and your blog's dashboard will look like the picture given below.




You will find all the options for your blog on the left side of the Blogger Dashboard. With the help of which you will be able to operate your blog. You can also create more than one blog in the same blogger account. To select the one in which you want to work, you have to click on the name of the blog on the top left side. Doing this will open the list of all your blogs. You have to select a blog from it and click on it. And the dashboard of that blog will open.


Insights of the Menu options of Blogger


+New Post.

On clicking on New Post, you will get the option to create a new post for your blog. On clicking here, a new page will open in which you will be able to write and design your new blog posts. 


Posts.

By clicking on this option, you will see all the posts already on your blog. Also, you will see all the draft posts that you have saved for editing or for posting later. You can edit, delete, or preview any post by clicking on it from here.


Stats.

Here you will get to see the status of your blogs. Stats mean the details of the visitors of your blogs. Here you will get to know about your visitors in great detail. How many visitors have come to your blog, where have they come from, when they have visited your blog, which browser they used, you will be able to see all the details here. You can also create a Google Analytics account for this.


Comments.

You will get to see the comments given by visitors to your blog here. You can manage those comments from here. You can also delete any inappropriate comments from here.


Earnings.

If you put Adsense's advertisement in your blog, then you will be able to see the income made from those posts here. You can also manage the Adsense advertisements of your blog from here, how it should appear in your blog. If you do not have an Adsense account, then you can also apply for an Adsense account from here.


Pages.

From here you can create standalone pages for your blog.


Layout.

From here you can see and edit the layout of your blog. You can add new gadgets to your blogs from here. You can also delete unnecessary gadgets from here.


Theme.

Here you can choose a template for your blog. Here you will get to see many templates inbuilt of blogger. If you do not like all those templates, then you can download a template for yourself from third party site and upload it here. If you have knowledge of web designing, then you can also create your own template here.


Settings.

In the settings of the blog, you can change the name, description, accessibility etc. of your blog. You can also invite other people to become Writer Moderator or Admin in your blog in settings. You will be able to add a custom domain for your blog only by going to the settings of the blog.


View Blog.

You will be able to go to your blog by clicking on View Blog and you will be able to see how your blog will look to the people.
